Services Offered:

Abbot House Heritage Centre is a much-loved meeting place for the people of Dunfermline and Fife, many of whom help to run it on a voluntary basis. One of the major features of Abbot House is its multi-functionality. With two floors of display rooms on the upper levels of the House, volunteer guides are available to conduct you through 1000 years of Scottish history. There is also the Abbot?s Kitchen caf?, with its tempting range of meals and home baking, gift shop, exhibition space, rooms available for private hire and the beautiful South facing garden. Here you can relax and watch the visiting peacocks, squirrels and birds and see the restored Mercat Pillar, with painted unicorn, once the old Market Cross of Dunfermline.
