  We have a hotel in the Perth area and Checkers do all our discos every Friday and Saturday night, have used them for 2years now, and never have they let me down, and I think I know why, I pay them, everytime, on time ! Think some customers should take note! You dont go out for a meal and forget to pay it before you leave do you? So why should a disco or band not get paid when they ask to. Do you know how hard it is to try chase someone for payment at the end of the night to be paid? Get real!

• Wedding or not!!

  If a deposit is not recived no matter what the disco is for, yes that is right we will not turn up. This is a company we have not a charity. I would like to know what if any disco would turn up without having a deposit or full payment made before the date of your function. I want to remind you that I called you 4days before and still no payment was made. So i will now let anyone who looks at what you have said make there own mind up!! Please read other views. • Blue light disco

  I am sorry but I have to add this after what Annette Mcleish has said about this company. I would like to know what the "working close with the police " is ? This company works very close with the police in scotland due to the fact that they set up the Bluelight Discos and I must say they have worked very well!! I have spoke with comapny manager and have seen booking forms for the Mcleish Disco and I want everyone to know that NO deposit was paid form Mrs Mcleish after 4 letters were sent.

• LET DOWN WHAT AN UNDERSTATEMENT

  Just a quick word to say “DON’T USE THESE GUYS” they give you a quote, they confirm the hire in writing then on the night they leave a bride who l might add is 6mths pregnant and 96 guests without a disco. YES folks they don’t turn up now they say that the central Scotland police use them all the time well sorry but l find that very hard to believe as l work very closely with the police in my job and sorry guys but they had never heard of you till l told them all about you don’t worry l don’t think they will every use your services, and l wonder how many more people they let down. Now they say they pride themselves on professionalism and high standard of service that they provide well let me just say to confirm a booking then don’t turn up and leave a bride and her family humiliated well that’s not much of a high standard of service and the worst thing of all is when l emailed them to ask what happened well lets say l am still waiting on a reply and the saddest thing is because it was the Easter weekend yip folks just last month 23rd April 2011 my daughter had to dance to her 1st dance with music from a mobile telephone and l suppose light at the end of the tunnel was we got another disco to come out only down side to that was the wedding reception started at 7pm and the disco came at 10pm and instead of it costing us �£140 l had to pay �£300. So folks “DON’T USE THESE GUYS” they don’t turn up. • Disco was fab!!!

  was at disco at pitreavie golf club 29th Jan 11. Disco was fab . I do feel sorry for the DJ at the end of the night due to the drunk pratts! I know they were family members but if thats how they act they should not drink. The disco was the best and would defo book them. Sorry guys its true stop the drinking. Think you should write a letter and say sorry!

• WHY WE NEVER TURNED UP FOR ENGAGEMENT PARTY

  Like any professional company Checkers Discos has terms & conditions that not only we have to adhere to, but our customers too. If this fails by any customer then we will not turn up for your disco. Checkers Discos is used by many police forces in Scotland for the Bluelight and the reason they use Checkers is for their professionalism and high standard of service that we offer . IF we fail to turn up for any event there is a good reason for this and unfortunately mostly due to customers not adhering to our terms. Please read other customers feedback.

• DIDNT SHOW TO MY ENGAGEMENT PARTY

  Booked him2 months b4 my party phoned the wednesday night party was the sat he said everything was fine n that i would see him then turned up to my party at 7 and there was no disco no phone call or nothing.Phoned him today and instead of saying sorry he hung up the phone. thanks to another dj my party went really well.WILL TELL EVERYONE NOT TO BOOK CHECKERS DISCOS !!!!!

  JUST LITTLE NOTE TO SAY THNAK YOU FOR DISCO FOR MUM ON SATURDAY (9/05/09) AT ST ANDREWS. IT WAS THE BEST NIGHT WE HAVE ALL HAD OUT TOGETHER IN LONG TIME AND I PUT MOST OF IT DOWN TO YOUE GUYS. • christmas eve

  Just a quick note from all the guys at kinross rugby club , booked Checkers Discos for our christmas paty 2008 and if was a very very good night. Had other discos in the past but what i would say about them is that they are what i would call "want to be D.Js" If you are looking for a good night and great music the Checkers are the guys to call. • DADS 80TH BIRTHDAY

  HI just want to say a big thank you for my dads 80th at the WoodMill Inn Dunfermline .I cant remember when i have seen my mum & dad so happy together and I put it down to yourselfs on great music but a even better D.J. I want to thank you for taking the time to stop the music and sitting down to talk to my dad about his life . you are a true gentleman & wish you all at Checkers all the very best and would recommend you to anybody.
