First steps childminding service provides care for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years. The service is available from monday to friday between the hours of 7. 30am and 6. 30pm all through the year. First steps childminding service supports the development and learning of children through a range of play activities whilst ensuring that daily routines offer an appropriate curriculum for each child's age and stage of development. Meals can be provided on request in a friendly and relaxed family environment. Snacks and refreshments are also included. All meals and snacks are healthy and will form part of a well-balanced diet. All equipment used is regularly maintained and is suitable for each child's age and stage of development. The premises have been fitted with all the necessary safety equipment and have been approved by the scottish commission for the regulation of care (care commission).
